According to the Notice of No.5, 2023 on Three New Food issued by National Health Commission, the following information has been updated to the Approval List of New Food Raw Materials (Novel food) and GB 2760-2014 database:

1. Approval List of New Food Raw Materials (Novel food): 3 new raw materials

  • Yerba mate
  • Yeast protein
  • Catechins

2. GB 2760-2014 database: 2 new varieties of food additives

  • edible tannin
  • ethyl acetate
