According to the Notice of No.3, 2023 regrading “Three New Food” (new food raw material, new food additive, and new food-related product) issued by the National Health Commission, the Approval List of New Food Raw Materials, GB 2760-2014, and GB 14880-2012 databases has the following updates:

1. Approval List of New Food Raw Materials (New Resource Foods): 2 new raw materials

l  Blueberry anthocyanins

l  Rye pollen

2. GB 2760-2014 database: 2 new food additives

l  D-psicose 3-epimerase (new food enzyme preparation)

l  ascorbyl palmitate (enzymatic) (expanded the scope of use)

3. GB 14880-2012 database: 5 new nutrition enhancers

l  L-Se-methylselenocysteine (new variety, using N-neneneba acetyl 3-chloro-L-serine methyl ester and Methaneselenol sodium as raw materials)

l  Vitamin B1 (expanded scope of use)

l  Vitamin B2 (expanded scope of use)

l  Taurine (expand scope of use)

l  ascorbyl palmitate (enzymatic) (expanded scope of use)
