Introduction:
In order to standardize the review of fungal and probiotic health food, State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) (current SAMR) issued the Measures on the Application and Evaluation of Fungal Health Food (Trial) and the Measures on the Application and Evaluation of Probiotic Health Food (Trial) in 2005, which contain the following two lists of strains available in health food:
1. List of Fungal Strains Available in Health Food (a total of 11 included)
2. List of Probiotic Strains Available in Health Food (a total of 10 included)
Notes:
Currently the strains available for health food are not limited to the above-mentioned two lists which were released earlier. Strains in the List of Strains Available in Food can be used in health food, therefore, health food enterprises should also pay attention to it.
